The Australasian Pharmaceutical Science Association (APSA) is a
professional society for individuals with an interest in pharmacy and the
pharmaceutical sciences. The Association strives to support, promote and
advance the scientific, practice and educational strengths of Australasia’s
pharmacy and pharmaceutical science researchers and to facilitate the
exchange of information and experiences between researchers in the
pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy practice and pharmacy education in
Membership is drawn
from the Pharmacy Schools of Australia and New Zealand, the pharmaceutical
and biotechnology industries, and associated government departments.
Regular annual conferences and short courses provide a forum for
presentation of research and development applications from all branches of
pharmaceutical science, pharmacy practice and pharmacy education.
The Association has
seen considerable growth in its membership over the past several years. The
most recent annual conferences attracted in excess of 300 delegates from
academia, industry, government and professional societies and hosted a
number of internationally recognised speakers. This year's conference
promises to be no exception to this trend.
